In the 111th Congress, we didn't achieve our goal of reaching an all time high for women in Congress. That is why we must begin early to bolster those women considering a run in 2010. As the election season approaches, and more women get involved as candidates, donors, and voters, RAN will ensure that you stay connected.
RAN provides members with useful tools that empower them to be active participants in the electoral process and vocal spokespeople for the earth. In addition, you will become part of a network of women just like you – eager to learn, willing to work, and interested in helping other women and the environment through political action.
RAN is the sister organization of Rachel’s Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which builds productive alliances among women philanthropists who care deeply about the environment, health, and women's empowerment. While RAN and Rachel’s Network have several overlapping board members, RAN is an entirely separate organization, with its own membership, mission, assets, and programs. To learn more about Rachel’s Network, check out their website.
I am convinced that, as women, we must lead the fight to protect our health and the environment. If you are interested in lending your voice to the effort to safeguard our future, please join us today…and please tell your friends about this national network of women like you!
